DO NOT IGNORE THIS! STAND UP FOR INTERNET FREEDOM!

Hey Fans,

You have probably noticed some sites already starting to blackout (Google, Wikipedia) in opposition of a couple annoying bills that are threatening our freedom with the use of the internet.

Now, I was never an overly political person, but these bills PIPA & SOPA are threatening to take away the very platform, from which entrepreneurs host their online business, and even the platform from which we, and other bands/musicians promote our music!!

ALOT of sites can be shut down, just like this very TUMBLR page that we use to host all of our ORIGINAL material, just because other tumblr users decide to use it to post pictures or videos that impose on copyright infringement laws.  Twitter (which we use to promote our music) , Youtube (which we use to post videos of new songs we write, to show our fans), and Etsy (an online marketplace for entrepreneurs), may also ALL be shut down.   We could even go to jail for doing an original cover of a song, which will be made a felony, if these bills are passed! HOW RIDICULOUS IS THAT !?!

The internet which is now, a very fun, and creative place for us to escape to, when we’re having hard days that we need to get through, it can all be gone in an instant.  The freedom we have right now, we are taking for granted… This isn’t a joke! If these people get their hands on things, and cripple innovation, and even the economy even more so than it already is , by wiping out small businesses … welp, I just don’t know… that’s the end of it. 

So what can you do to help the cause?

There are numerous amounts of petitions you can sign… so they spam you a little bit , who cares… There’s something called an UNSUBSCRIBE button, at the end of every newsletter you get in your email.  If it really bothers you, you can click it.  The point here, is just to get your name on things! Strength in numbers!
