NEW ALBUM IN THE MAKING! Thank you so much to Jon Kragh & Matthew Cook for letting us use your mics and The Bayaks at Park Community Church for letting us use the space to record <3 we are so grateful to have your support!! VIDS COMING SOON!
![]() Our first night drum tracking at the Park Community Church went fairly well last night… It took us about 4 hours to get set up, and the whole kit mic’d, and getting sounds right… We started tracking at around 10:30 PM and got 2 songs complete… We started to track “Bird’s Eye View” last, and Mike’s limbs just would not cooperate with his brain, so we decided to wrap and call it a night around 1:30 am, and pick back up this morning. This morning we started around 10:30 AM, and powered through til about 5:00 PM or so. Things went well, no real technical difficulties…There was a cool thunderstorm while we were recording “Awestruck”, so some of the thunder picked up in the mics while we were recording a quieter part toward the end of the song… it was actually quite a nice happy accident, so we will probably be leaving it in… We would also like to give a HUGE thanks to The Bayak Family for letting us use their beautiful space; these drums sound HUGE AND EPIC thanks to the room, and we can’t thank them enough for their support in making our record sound the best it can! Also Pat Bayak for the food, you are really too much!! We really appreciate your hospitality! And Jon Kragh and Matt Cook for letting us borrow your mics… we really got the hookup, so thank you times a million! Drums are now wrapped, and we look forward to the next step, guitars/bass… We’ll keep you in the loop, and hopefully we can have some video footage up soon! We took tons… Thanks again all for your support, CLICK HERE TO SEE MORE PICS FROM OUR DRUM TRACKING SESSION Justina, Avi, Mike, Neil, & Steve ![]() We know we’ve been MIA all summer with no shows, but we’ve been keeping focuses and working super hard to tie up our loose ends with the writing of the new material.. and all of our hard work brought us up to this point, because: OFFICIAL PRODUCTION STARTS TODAY FOLKS! Some Pre Production Drum Session Vids to come soon! Justina, Avi, & Mike! We are SUPERRRRRR STOKED, we have ALOT new songs in the works for you guys :-D Super Productive Practice Last night! We can’t WAIT to start recording these for you all! Just a few songs need to be finished being written, then we can start demoing for pre pro, then eventually record for you all. We all agree that the stuff on this next album is a lot darker, we don’t really have poppy tracks like “My Mistake” or “Goodbye August”, but you can expect a lot creepiness, and hopefully a lot orchestral arrangements :-) Don’t fret though, we have not lost our hard rock sound. There are still ALOT of hard hitting drums, rock guitar hooks and grooving bass lines, definitely still headbanging worthy!! We will def sound like the same band, but this album will definitely be INTERESTING… We have definitely grown a lot as a songwriting unit, as most of the first EP (A Dosage From Delusional) was written as an acoustic duo and having formed a full band after those songs were written. SOME of the songs that will be on the new album are older songs revamped, or just older ideas that we finally got around to finishing, and we have a nice batch of brand new ones too which is always exciting. With this new collection of songs, we are expecting to fill some gaps in the concept we have going. There is still quite a lot of work to be done before you hear any new recordings from us, but we’re excited and we feel good about it! More news to come soon about the new material :-D Oh this? You know… Just tracking some bass… NBD

We would like to thank Sam Oh for helping us out in the studio. He layed down some beautiful Cello for "Goodbye August" yesterday =D Here is a little snippet of his session, it's sounding so amazing, we cannot wait !! Hey Stelladeora Fans,
Ryan was doing some bass tracking with Michael Lisa this past weekend… ENJOY THE PROGRESS! THE START VOCALS SOON! DON’T FORGET TO CHECK US OUT AT THE HAVERFORD MUSIC FESTIVAL IN PA THIS WEEKEND! HEY STELLADEORA FANS ! So I know many of you cannot WAIT for the Stelladeora EP! TRUST US, WE CAN’T EITHER!! We have been working VERY hard in the studio , to bring you guys some new music. We started pre production at the end of July, and we really wanted to show you guys all the hard work , and a lot of goofing around it takes to get the job done. We are having the time of our lives working with Michael Lisa, who is the most super talented dude we have ever had the pleasure of working with. This kid is wise beyond his years, and it might even be safe to say that he is the closest thing to a musical genius that we have ever had been fortunate enough to work with. We are glad he decided to take on our project! Check out the video that we produced, below! Since this video, we have completed tracking the drums, as well as guitars for all of the songs! Here are a couple sneak peeks of Avi tracking guitars with Mike Lisa… NEXT UP! BASS & VOCALS!! STAY TUNED! Avi, Juss, Mike, & Ry It’s been awhile since we actually updated our official site, but it’s not because we have been lazy…. It has actually been quite the opposite. The end of July and beginning of August were a bit scarce with the shows, but that doesn’t mean we’ve been rocking any less!! We have been in the studio for about 2 weeks now , starting Pre Production on our very first EP!! It will be a 7 song EP , just about … and we know that you guys will LOVE IT! We are working with our new friend Michael Lisa, and he is amazingly talented. The music industry should be on the lookout, cuz one day this dude is gonna take the music world by storm!! So Pre Production started about 2 Sundays ago, where we basically just mapped out the structures to all the songs, got tempos, changed some intros, and recorded some scratch tracks. All of this was in prep to start actual tracking, and form our plan of attack. (PRE PRODUCTION FOOTAGE TO COME SOON!) The Tuesday after , Mike went in to lay down the drum tracks, and the following Friday Avi went down to start on guitars. We are seriously sooooooo excited!!! Aside from the studio fun, we did have a show last night at the NY Bagel Cafe in Brick! Who knew a bagel shop could rock so hard!??! One would not think so, but it did, and we made some AWESOME new friends in the process! =D CHECK THEM OUT STRAWBERRY JAM FACEBOOK PAGE SAMI ELDEBS FACEBOOK PAGE PETRIFIED MINDS FACEBOOK PAGE Also Here is a video of our rockage from lastnight!!! Thank you Tim for the vid! Thanks to Joe Cullity and the NY Bagel Cafe for having us play the show, and also a HUGE thanks to everyone who came out to support :-) We really appreciate it! So what’s on deck for Stelladeora? THIS THURSDAY NIGHT Stelladeora needs YOUR help deciding our 7th track on our new EP | Tracking starts next week!7/12/2011 HEY STELLADEORA FANS !!
It’s about that time, we are gearing up to head back to the studio again… this time, full throttle, we pretty much know what we want from these songs we’ve been rehearsing for the past half a year! We will be working with the very talented Michael Lisa, and we are super excited about it! But we just have one little problem. We will be fixing and finishing up some stuff that we previously started working on, but we also have some new ones that we’d love to record! We love all of our songs equally, so it is hard for us to choose one over the other! In other words, we need YOUR help, choosing our 7th track! And the 2 tracks that we are polling, are “The Deep End”, or “The Relic”. Which song do YOU guys want to hear on the EP? Let us know! HEY ALL!
Here we are at 1176 Studios (1176studios.com) in Whitestone, NY with Jon Santos, working on our new single “Magnetic Poetry” ! We are so excited to be working on the new tracks, and can’t wait to release our new EP, which should be due out sometime this fall of 2010. Please follow us on our musical journey ! -Justina, Avi, & Danny of Stelladeora |
