HEY FANS!
We would like to announce that our music video for our rendition of Mexican Folk Song "La Llorona" was selected to screen at the Skiptown Playhouse International Film Festival in Los Angeles, California, this October! Skiptown International Film Festival is a new festival that specializes in low (under 5 million budget) independent films with great potential for the world wide market. It is a great outlet for filmmakers from all over the world to showcase their work and be seen by distributors, producers, and other industry professionals working in Hollywood. And what better place to be located, than Hollywood itself! The festival is run by the owner of Skiptown Productions, Vincenzo Carubia who also works in acquisitions for Princ Films. This festival is a great opportunity for filmmakers to have their work seen and showcased to industry professionals who have the potential to distribute their work at the major film markets around the world aka international sales distribution. This intimate theater is known for it's comfy chairs, red curtains, and warm ambiance that is created by the owners Vincenzo, Anny, and Michelle. Opening in February of 2018, the theater quickly grew a following in the comedy community in Hollywood and started growing a following for it's film screenings as well through Blackout Cinema (a local film group). Now Skiptown decided to grow it's adventure by creating a week long film festival event with opening / closing night parties, as well as red carpet photos, guest speakers, panels, and a carefully selected variety of shorts / features, and more. The festival will take place this October 23-29, 2019. You can find more information about the film festival and the playhouse, please visit: https://www.skiptownplayhouse.com/film-festival

Happy Birthday to our guitarist Avinash
(aka Avi aka the Avster aka Producisizer) Patel! We <3 You, Have a wonderful day! This year was a great one for us. We wrote a butt load of new material, played some cool shows, were nominated for a JAM award, and we welcomed our guitarist, Steve to our musical family. We hope 2013 treated you all well! We are going into 2014 with a lot of hopes and aspirations. We are beyond excited to buckle down and start working on our first full length release. This will be the first time writing our record as a BAND, and recording as a BAND. We have come so far together and the music is just getting better and better. This new year will be one of hard work, but a labor of love nonetheless: Love of music, and love of creating something with our bandmates, that we can share with the world. We can’t wait to see where this year takes us! With that said, we hope you have a ROCKIN New Years Eve, and an even more ROCKIN New Year! Have a safe and happy New Years Eve with the ones you love! Here’s to 2014 Everyone! Thanks for the support throughout the years! Justina, Avi, Mike, Neil, & Steve So we’re on a mini-recess while we demo some new songs and get through the holidays. Perfect time to clean up the rehearsal space and give it some year round holiday cheer. We’ll be back at it in no time preparing for some shows and working on our full length. Stay tuned! #reallybutnotreally #thisjustmeanswernotpracticingfortwoweeks #wehaveanacousticshowtomorrow Justina, Avi, Mike, Neil, & Steve Happy Friday Everyone! Hey Fans!!
As some of you know, we have announced on our Facebook page, that we are planning to finally release our long awaited debut album, "A Dosage From Delusional", to the world, in just a few days! After much discussion between band members, we have decided to release the album in DIGITAL FORMAT ONLY , at this time. The reason for this being, we really honestly don’t have the funds to get all the CDs made up at this point in time. Reproduction Costs, and Shipping, & Distribution Packages alone, to go through a reputable artist friendly company, is more costly than one would think. This is why we are releasing the album THIS WAY…. We still wanted to give you guys the music you have waited almost a year for, so we decided to make this album available for FREE DIGITAL DOWNLOAD! That’s right, FREE! Although, we are also giving you theoption to pay whatever you feel our music is worth to you! If you would like, you may leave a donation of whatever sum of money you think we deserve for all of our hard work in bringing this music to you once and for all! With the donations we receive from our digital album downloads (if we make enough), we will make a small run of hard copies of the album and every person who donated will get a signed CD mailed to them! Every little bit helps… We love all of you guys for your continued support throughout this crazy album-making process. We could never do it without fans/friends/family like you! We hope you enjoy the music… finally! We got this far waiting for it.. What’s a few more days!??! Justina, Avi, Mike, & Neil Hello Stelladeora Fans!! We know it has been an extremely long time since we last posted anything. Unfortunately our band has been going through kind of a slump. We decided to part ways with our last bassist, DJ. It wasn’t anything personal; DJ is a really cool dude and great bassist, and we wish him the best of luck with his future musical endeavors. Ultimately our styles just clashed, and it was in our mutual interests to go our separate ways. We took about a couple weeks to a month off, to regroup and really figure out what we wanted in a bassist, and an additional band mate. We were given the contact information of a bassist through a fan/friend/FB follower of ours, so we got in touch and set up a jam session. We decided after a couple auditions, that he is our guy. We are very confident that he will take our music to the next level, and we would love for you all to give him a nice warm welcome! Everyone please welcome Neil to the band! Get to Know Neil Brown “I started playing bass when I was 15 and was very much into alternative rock and industrial rock at the time. As I got older my influences and appreciation for various type of music broadened. From eclectic rock groups like Radiohead and Mars Volta, to hip hop influences like The Roots, dance electronic trance rock groups like Brazilian Girls, Crystal Castles, Mindless self indulgence. I even studied jazz at Rutgers University New Brunswick. Christian McBride, Marcus Miller, Joe Henderson, Miles,Coltrane, and Corea, are among the many influences I love and appreciate.” Gear: "I play electric and upright bass. I have a Marcus Miller American fender 5 string, Kay 1957 upright bass, Aguilar cabinets, Euphonic audio doubler bass head, Korg M3 synth/workstation. “Aside from playing bass I enjoy producing whatever I feel sounds good and looking forward to a fun and busy summer with the band.” We hope to get some shows starting in mid summer, maybe late July! Be on the lookout, Stelladeora will be coming back with a bang! We are super excited to have Neil on board! Justina, Avi, & Mike Hey Stelladeora Fans…
We know a lot of you were planning to come out to the show tomorrow, and we were so excited to be playing this venue again, but unfortunately Flu season has caught up with our singer, Justina, and she is in no shape to be singing at this time. We know it’s been a couple weeks since we last posted about anything, or even mentioned the new music that we have coming out. We have been going through some changes as a band, and we wanted to be sure of things before we made any sort of announcements. But at this point, it is pretty official to say that Ryan Wilson (Bass) will no longer be a part of Stelladeora. He brought a lot of great ideas and unique arrangements to our music, and we will forever be appreciative of what he brought to the table. He has decided to leave on his own terms, and would like to leave our fans this closing statement: “It’s a radical change but I’m giving up music. It’s been a wonderful 10 year distraction that’s taken me to quite a number of interesting relationships and creations. But it’s most definitely time to prioritize and focus on other less quixotic endeavors.” -Ryan We wish Ryan the best of luck with his future endeavors. However, this does not mean the end for us! We have been searching far and wide for a new bass player, and we will not stop until we find one! We will get back into the game, rockin before you know it! And don’t worry, this hasn’t held up things with our EP at all… We can assure you that we are coming down to the wire, and are in the process of wrapping things up! We were in the studio this past weekend, with Mike Lisa, retracking “Magnetic Poetry”, & “Clockwork” with new bass parts, & live drums!! We’d like to give a huge thanks to our friend PJ Angeloni for helpin us out with the bass. Also special thanks to Mary Sanchez for comin up to the studio on Sunday, and documenting us in the action, as a band in the studio. We do have plans to create a documentary about the process with behind the scenes footage, and interviews, and all that awesome goodness! There is no scheduled release for anything right now, but it is safe to say the the beginning of the new year is going to be a great time for us! We are in transition as a band, and we have even started to write some brand new material. We cannot wait to play new songs for you LIVE!! Be on the lookout for a release date of the new EP, come the new year!! Everyone have a great and safe Thanksgiving!
