Happy Friday Everyone! We would like to officially announce and welcome our new friend and 2nd guitarist, Steve Hannon to our band! More new band shots coming soon!
Congrats to our drummer Mike , on tying the knot this past weekend! Here are some silly pics we took in the photo booth at the wedding… New promo shots maybe? Oh Those Silly Stelladeoras!
Hello Stelladeora Fans!! We know it has been an extremely long time since we last posted anything. Unfortunately our band has been going through kind of a slump. We decided to part ways with our last bassist, DJ. It wasn’t anything personal; DJ is a really cool dude and great bassist, and we wish him the best of luck with his future musical endeavors. Ultimately our styles just clashed, and it was in our mutual interests to go our separate ways. We took about a couple weeks to a month off, to regroup and really figure out what we wanted in a bassist, and an additional band mate. We were given the contact information of a bassist through a fan/friend/FB follower of ours, so we got in touch and set up a jam session. We decided after a couple auditions, that he is our guy. We are very confident that he will take our music to the next level, and we would love for you all to give him a nice warm welcome! Everyone please welcome Neil to the band! Get to Know Neil Brown “I started playing bass when I was 15 and was very much into alternative rock and industrial rock at the time. As I got older my influences and appreciation for various type of music broadened. From eclectic rock groups like Radiohead and Mars Volta, to hip hop influences like The Roots, dance electronic trance rock groups like Brazilian Girls, Crystal Castles, Mindless self indulgence. I even studied jazz at Rutgers University New Brunswick. Christian McBride, Marcus Miller, Joe Henderson, Miles,Coltrane, and Corea, are among the many influences I love and appreciate.” Gear: "I play electric and upright bass. I have a Marcus Miller American fender 5 string, Kay 1957 upright bass, Aguilar cabinets, Euphonic audio doubler bass head, Korg M3 synth/workstation. “Aside from playing bass I enjoy producing whatever I feel sounds good and looking forward to a fun and busy summer with the band.” We hope to get some shows starting in mid summer, maybe late July! Be on the lookout, Stelladeora will be coming back with a bang! We are super excited to have Neil on board! Justina, Avi, & Mike Hey Stelladeora Fans!! We are so amazingly excited and thrilled to announce, that we have found our bass player! We told you we would be rockin again before you know it! We would like to welcome DJ Dunster to the band! He hails from South Amboy, NJ and is ready to slappa da bass!! Hopefully, he will be ready in time, to make his Stelladeora stage debut at our up and coming Christmas Show at the Crossroads in Garwood, on December 18th! (Not to put the pressure on ya or anything, DJ!) For those of you who are dying to come see us rock out again (it has been over a month since we have taken the stage full band style) , then here is your perfect chance!! And to top it off , we are SUPER stoked to be sharing the stage with some of our favorite local bands & friends! This is going to be a great show for sure (It will also be Justina’s Birthday weekend, so come buy her some shots and help light her up like a Christmas Tree) !! Also, in studio news.. our tracks are now in mixing!! :-) WE’RE SO EXCITED! 2012 is going to be a great year for us, we can feel it! See ya soon guys! Justina, Avi, Mike, & DJ Hey Stelladeora Fans!
We know it’s been a couple weeks since we last posted about anything, or even mentioned the new music that we have coming out. We have been going through some changes as a band, and we wanted to be sure of things before we made any sort of announcements. But at this point, it is pretty official to say that Ryan Wilson (Bass) will no longer be a part of Stelladeora. He brought a lot of great ideas and unique arrangements to our music, and we will forever be appreciative of what he brought to the table. He has decided to leave on his own terms, and would like to leave our fans this closing statement: “It’s a radical change but I’m giving up music. It’s been a wonderful 10 year distraction that’s taken me to quite a number of interesting relationships and creations. But it’s most definitely time to prioritize and focus on other less quixotic endeavors.” -Ryan We wish Ryan the best of luck with his future endeavors. However, this does not mean the end for us! We have been searching far and wide for a new bass player, and we will not stop until we find one! We will get back into the game, rockin before you know it! And don’t worry, this hasn’t held up things with our EP at all… We can assure you that we are coming down to the wire, and are in the process of wrapping things up! We were in the studio this past weekend, with Mike Lisa, retracking “Magnetic Poetry”, & “Clockwork” with new bass parts, & live drums!! We’d like to give a huge thanks to our friend PJ Angeloni for helpin us out with the bass. Also special thanks to Mary Sanchez for comin up to the studio on Sunday, and documenting us in the action, as a band in the studio. We do have plans to create a documentary about the process with behind the scenes footage, and interviews, and all that awesome goodness! There is no scheduled release for anything right now, but it is safe to say the the beginning of the new year is going to be a great time for us! We are in transition as a band, and we have even started to write some brand new material. We cannot wait to play new songs for you LIVE!! Be on the lookout for a release date of the new EP, come the new year!! Everyone have a great and safe Thanksgiving! Cheers, Justina on behalf of Stelladeora Hey Stelladeora Fans! Here is a prize video we made for our fans for getting us to 300 fans on our facebook page :-) Get us to 400 , and we’ll give you another video !! :-D SUGGEST YOUR FRIENDS TO LIKE US ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE HERE! -Justina, Avi, Ryan, & Mike We would like to welcome our new drummer Mike Lyon, from Piscataway, NJ!

We appreciate your support ! -Justina, Avi, & Ryan Ryan loves long walks on the beach, indie films, rainbows, Kombucha, and good grammar. He also loves indian food, but his stomach does not.
He is super excited about joining our band, and we are super excited to have him on board! We look forward to finishing the rest of our EP with Ryan’s super bass playing abilities! Justina, Avi, & Danny Stelladeora |
